John Blake (deafhope) > Sabbath afternoons we go for a walk out in nature by the lake, or up a mini-mountain.  This was the trail in the snow at our November weekend together.  You can have snow here almost any time of year, but not usually from mid-June to the end of August.
John Blake (deafhope) > At the far end of the table is Farrah Gooding teaching the Sabbath School lesson on Saturday morning.  Farrah traveled for over 40 hours by bus coming from Toronto to Calgary to attend the Deaf Retreat.
John Blake (deafhope) > It's so nice for deaf people to be able to sign and relax and not have to 'talk' with voice!
John Blake (deafhope) > We all made it to the top of a mini-mountain and it is so, so beautiful!  These mountains are part of the Canadian Rockies.
